Premature frontal passage

No... it's not some strange atmospheric medial condition... It IS what has happened this afternoon. Abundant sunshine has allowed the warm front to mix north much faster than it appeared this morning, and temps have already surged well into the 60s to near 70 degrees (69 in Olathe at 2pm). So, certainly one seriously blown forecast today.

On a side note: The moisture is REALLY surging in from the south, and there could be some serious thunderstorms across SE KS, SW MO, and AR tonight. Some strong tornadoes are certainly not out of the question. The storm chase juices are a-flowin'!
