Snow is enroute...

The snow is enroute to Kansas City. Fortunately, we have some dry air that is evaporating the snow as it falls right now from the clouds. The air will saturate sometime between 2 and 3 this afternoon.

Snow totals still look on the order of 6-10 inches generally across the Kansas City metro area. However the NW side of the metro (toward KCI) could only see 4 inches, while parts of Lee's Summit has potential to see 12 inches of snow. The heaviest band looks along the Ft. Scott, Sedalia line, with 12 inch amounts generally south of the US-50 corridor.
